Yes, that was fun.

There are 412,457 people in the U.S. with my first name & 23,997 people in the U.S. with my last name.

Nick: Glad you enjoyed it. Do you remember how many people had both your first and last name? I'm curious.

Cathy: You must have a popular name. The person I stole this from must have had an unusual name, there were only 4 in the US!

It says there is one person with my name, which I know is not true, but there are 157,484 with my first name (gee, and when I was little NO ONE but boys had my name), and there are 2,670 with my last name (and I believe I am related to most all of them in one way or another).

I know this doesn't apply to this post and I don't know if you've already seen this, but I got this in an email this morning from Baucus' Office, and thought of you.

"BAUCUS GETS $72M FOR WIND POWER GENERATION

Senator’s Financing Program Will Jumpstart 34 New Wind Projects in State

(BILLINGS , Mont. ) – Montana Senator Max Baucus has helped secure more than $72 million in financing to jumpstart 34 new wind energy projects in Montana .

“The winds of today will create the good-paying jobs of tomorrow,” Baucus said during a news conference in Billings on December 1[st]. “This is about harnessing the wind – a clean, renewable resource -- to help us get more energy independent while powering our homes, Main Streets, and businesses.”

Let me know if you'd like the whole thing!

Courtney: See how unique you are! When I was little, every other baby girl was named Laurie. Then the spelling changed to Lori and now I don’t think either spelling is very popular, which is fine by me.

As for the wind energy, I received the same email, but thanks so much for thinking of me. I am so excited and proud of Max for working so hard for us. What a great opportunity for our state!

There isn't one single human being in the U.S. with both my first and last names, and I'm not surprised.

Of course this would almost certainly mean the same is true in Canada, where I live.

However, I DO know there is at least one person in France with my first and last name.

And I DO have a sister named Lori...

Thanks for your visit! I loved all the pictures you have here. So jealous of your digital camera..... I didn't even check how many people had my name because I was so distracted by all the pretty scenery. Hope you're having a good weekend.

Within Without: You must have unusual first and last names. Mine are both quite common; in fact when I was a swim team coach (back in the day); a coach from a town 100 miles from us had the exact same name.

Misslittlepea: I am glad you like the photos. I recently upgraded to a Canon digital Rebel. I have a 35 X 55 mm lens and a 75 X 300 mm zoom. I absolutely love it. It is so much fun. I travel quite a lot for work and have started allotting myself an extra hour both directions so that I can stop and take pictures. Thanks for stopping by my blog; I’ll get some more photos posted when my home cable internet company fixes their server. I love living in rural Montana, but sometimes the lack of amenities is slightly frustrating.

Kitten: Happy holidays to you!
