There is a light at the end of the tunnel

And I don't think it's a train!

I've been busier than a one-legged woman in a butt kicking contest. Between work and family obligations I have had no time at all to blog or more importantly visit your blogs. You've all been so kind, stopping by and leaving comments, emailing and checking up on me...I feel badly that I've not been able to keep up with what is going on in all of your lives.

My hope is that I will have more time to do so in the future. After I get my work website updated this weekend, I plan to visit each and every one of you and catch up on what is happening in your lives. Until then, I will leave you with a few photos.

My dear friend took me fly fishing on the Yellowstone River for a few hours last week. The river is very near where dad is now.

Just a cool rock I found, it reminded me of a heart. What do you think?

The clouds were really something that day.

A little different view of the Yellowstone River...

"Yes I know the weather is cold and your friend is fishing, but I am the boss and I am going swimming!"

"This stick tastes delicious!"

"It's all mine..."

"...And I'm spent!"

please focus on your tasks and don't feel badly about the blog-world; we are waiting with the porch light on.

Clouds and skies are really hard to photograph. It seems like by the time I've raised the camera into position, they've changed.

Great photos, Laurie, thanks for taking time to share. Your doggie reminds us of the one the boss had when we met. She looks so happy.

A dog and a river, it can't get better than that for an amusing afternoon. Your river looks like an interesting float in a canoe.
Everything is in it's Fall colours, nice!

Ahhhh - busy here too, the usual insanity + some new & exciting twists. I'm hoping for boring soon.

I drove down from Columbus on Wednesday, and thought of you. The leaves were turning, and the sky was incredible.

Hope that you're doing well, and let's try to get together next time you're in the neighborhood.

Hi Laurie!

Don't worry about the blog thing. We are always here after you TAKE A BREATH! Rest up!

Your views are breathtaking. Maybe I said this before, but do you know how fortunate you are to live in such a wonderful place?

I am so glad your Dad is good and you are looking forward to kicking with both feet :o)

Hugs,
Mary

Funny that I was stopping by your blog to apologise for being so absent myself. Sometimes life just sucks the life out of you, doesn't it? Glad that you're OK and I look forward to more time for contact. In the meantime I'll send you big hugs and much love.

No worries about blogging, we'll all be here when the dust settles. Love the pictures of your sweet pup playing in the river, and the ones of the clouds and the bridge are pretty cool.

Yes, the rock does look like a heart - beautiful photos, and "shasta" seems pretty happy. Glad that life is going well.

That rock looks totally like a heart!

And, if your dad gets a birthday card from Mickey Mouse, it was from me! :)

I am so jealous.

Not of the work of fishing the YELLOWSTONE! You live in a rockin' fly fishin' state you know? I think the rock picture is worthy of at the very least an honorable mention. I think it would be really superb on a greeting card. Give Hallmark a call!

Hope life dies down a bit for you!

sometimes you just have do what you have to do. I love the photos and when you have time to kick off your shoes and read and write we will all benefit. Good luck with your website. More busy then a one leg butt kicker I love it.

Laurie - Beautiful pictures! I love them all. The picture of you with your dad and brother at the party is so sweet. You're so pretty and Yes! - Wolf must have loved seeing the three of you.

I sure understand how life's demands limits the energy and time for blogging. We're all out here and I figure once the snow starts flying things will calm down a bit. Stay well, Sweetie.
