A November Walk

I spent the weekend in Absarokee again. My brother and I took his dog to the city park which is on the Rosebud River. Part of the park is developed, with picnic tables and tennis courts, but the rest of it is not and that is where we usually go.

This used to be part of a powerplant. Obviously it isn't in use anymore. My cousins and I used to hike to it and hang out...usually plotting the overthrow of the free world, or at least our parents.

Will someone please tell this dog that it's November?

Just a dried up river channel.

Back in the day, people used old cars as river armor. That's frowned upon today, but there's still some around, as you can see.

And so ends another fun-filled day.

The whole state of Montana is beautiful, and very diverse in many ways. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I will do that Moos. I think the next visit will be Thanksgiving, for a couple of days. If you aren't doing anything you are welcome to come join the clan. My cousins from Billings (the ones that aren't in the hospital--long story which I will no doubt elaborate upon when I get home from state convention) will be there, as will my boyfriend, dad, brother and uncle.

I do plan to take my dad to the doctor in early December, and will stay in Absarokee for 3 or 4 days. So if that's better for you, that will work too.
