Jen, thank you, that is very sweet of you to say.

And for the record, I am SO over the printer. *sniff*. ;-)

Cool. Looks eerie. I like it.

Cool moon photo Laurie! I have a similar shot from the other night!

That's gorgeous. All of my moon pictures look like a little speck of white against a black cloth.

Mary, I'm glad you like it! That is the sight that greeted me as I left our annual banquet last night. I was so tired I figured that nothing I could write about it would make sense (of course that wouldn't be a first on my blog) so I just posted the picture.

Naturewoman, you take wonderful photos! I look forward to reading your blog every day.

Squirl, I used my 300 mm lens and leaned against a car because the ones where I tried it "freehand" looked like time-lapsed photography. ;-)

There's a restaurant near me called Bella Luna. I forget it actually means something!

Rhea, thanks for stopping by. How's the food there?

Butterfly, glad you like! :)

Very nice! I especially like the "halo" around it.

Terrific shot. I have yet to take a decent moon picture.

Gina, thanks, I'm glad you like it.

AC, you take great pictures! I just got lucky on this one.

Laurie - I tried to photograph this same moon a few nights ago in Arizona and failed completely. This shot is so moody - so beautiful. Was it foggy there? Did you take a timed exposure? (How was the banquet?)

Cathy, I'm so glad you like it. I took it with the new Rebel. I did it in night portrait mode which is somewhat like timed exposure. There was a bit of a moon doggy effect and that tree was just too good to pass up.

The banquet was great. I posted some stuff on my work website today. You can see it here if you are interested.

Pam's artwork was a real hit with the guests.
