...about not posting anything, so here's a photo of a sheepherder's wagon I took on Grove Creek near Absarokee, MT.
Day one of the 7 day, too many hours per day to count marathon, is over. Only six more to go.
Wish me luck.

Great photo!
Good luck!
Good luck, Laurie! You'll make it. Nice photo, by the way. Don't feel sheepish. I took a week off, for goodness sakes!!!!
Hugs,
Mary
I just found your blog. Nice! I have always wanted to go to East Montana where I have a school friend there who ranches 6 1/2 sections with her husband.
Moos, glad you like the photo. Thanks for the good luck wishes.
Mary, yes you did, and I missed you!
Pebbles in the stream, so nice you could stop by my blog. Eastern Montana is beautiful, you should visit.
Nice picture. Is that near where you grew up?
indeed, good luck!
Nothing wrong with taking a break--forget the guilt. We'll all manage while you just enjoy!
Just Dave (may I call you Dave for short?), it is about 3 miles from where I was raised.
Ur-spo, it's really a fun week, although it can be rather tiring. We are setting up for the county fair which runs for 4 days. It takes a lot of prep time and energy, which I seem to have a lot of right now.
Kg, I am sure that you can get by just fine without me. :-)
It’s OK to feel sheepish; just don’t let anyone lead you into the slaughtering pen!
Neat photo. Hang in there, I'll be thinking of you.
The scenery is beautiful. It looks like Oklahoma, only corrugated.
Nick, oh my, that brings to mind the movie "The Silence of the Lambs" or would that be "The Silence of the Laurie"?
Pam, thanks, dear lady. You are a sweetheart. {{hugs}}
Thomas, I've never been to Oklahoma, so I'll have to take your word for it. :-)
hey hey - no silence of the Laurie!
lovely photo as usual...Good luck, lovely lady...hang in there.

"Even work can be an act of worship, if done in the spirit of service to others"....I always recited that when I pulled double shifts. I don't know how I did it. Somehow, we persevere.
Good luck my dear!
Love that photo! What a beautiful place that is!
You'll make it. :)
Peace,
~Chani
I'm new here, but I wanted to suggest we trade links. I am always on the lookout for other baby boomers.
On the other hand, I know you already. It's just ME who not blogrolled YOU yet. Ooops. a little tiny mistakey
What a great place!!!! Thanks for the trip.
Cool photo - good luck Laurie!
Pink, Ha! Silence of the Laurie...as if!
Bonita, I shouldn't complain, I love my job and fair is really fun! But thanks for those words of wisdom.
Gina, thank you kindly. {{hug}}
Chani, I wish the sheep had been nearby, but just my luck, I lost them. ;-)
Rhea, are you feelin' a little sheepish about that? heehee!! Just teasin'.
Dave, I'm so glad you liked it.
Pam, thanks, dear, I appreciate it!
