When the Boss is Away, the Cats will Play

Remember this?
After Goober knocked the cat tree down in the spare room, I moved it to the living room. It was hooked to the ceiling with extremely strong wire.

Can somebody tell me how it became this?

Oh dear -- the leaning tower of cats indeed! LOL I keep expecting them to start an architecture business!!!

>HUGE bear hug<.... b

Great pictures of the sly felines. I love your cats, especially the Siamese...I have one, they are quite clever.

As for the tree...pin it on 'em all!

Somehow I knew what that last photo would look like! I laughed to the end, Laurie. How did they treat you when you arrived back home again? My cats were usually purposely aloof towards me, kind of like issuing a punishment.

WD, I imagine they would be quite successful architects. I've seen buildings in Denver they might actually have designed.

Huge bear hugs back!

Pam, she's a little cutie, isn't she? She talks all the time. Just like a Siamese we had when I was young.

Mary, I only WISH they were aloof. They've been all over me non-stop since I walked through the door. I had to lock them out of the bedroom last night to get some sleep!

Ha! I bet they like it better that way!

Seriously, how did they manage your absence while you were gone? They look like they are making up for lost time, in an attempt to keep your attention, hold it, and never let you go!

It looks like cat payback for your long absence.
I have noticed there is a fine line between my cats ignoring me when I return, and them greeting me and going over-board, meowing, oh you're home you're home we thought you were gone forever.
You must have passed the line--and they are so happy to see you.

I've been tempted to get one of those bird play gyms that hang from the ceiling. After all of the pictures Ive seen of holes chewed in ceilings, the temptation faded. Now I know I won't get one of those cat trees that attach to the ceiling, either. They'd either destroy it, or I'd end up with a 25 lb. cat on my head.

Looks to me like there is one cat that may be over the "chubby" limit for your tree LOL

I really didn't appreciate that cats liked to climb. Hmmmm. I guess that explains why they get stuck up in trees and on telephone poles. Did one of your fur-kids ever need help getting off the living room tree?

Ur-spo, I have a plethora of kitties, for sure.

Gina, apparently they do. The little stinkers.

Bonita, my roomie did the best he could, but they are rather demanding...

KG, they have hounded me pretty much non-stop since I came back.

Courtney, I expect this tree to come down any day now. The only thing holding it up is the heavy-duty wire that is hooked to the ceiling.

DH, there may be more than one over the weight limit.

Cathy, once I woke up in the middle of the night and the big (not so bright) male was stuck on the curtain rod above my bed. I yelled at him, telling him to jump down. Which he did, landing on my chest, knocking the breath out of me.

And as a matter of fact, M kitty got stuck on the tree last night. Her claw was caught in the fabric and I had to extricate her.

Laurie, I think you could use a little peek of soft frog porn. Check out my Tuesday post :o)

I hope you are feeling rested and well.

Mary, I loved your frog porn! You are too much, girl. Thanks for making me laugh hysterically!

Mspea, they are a handful sometimes, but I love them.

Jen, I'm not sure. Most of it is done in the wee hours of the morning, when I'm not awake to witness the mischief.

I hope Dale is still doing well. I would hate to think about having to be in there THAT long and without YOU!! He is right though, at least they didn't find anymore cancer.

We have 15 cats right now. Need I say more? ;(

Butterfly, Dale is struggling. My son has been visiting him as often as he possibly can and he keeps me posted. Things aren't going very well, but there's still hope. I just wish I could be there to help.

15? :-O That's a lot of cats!

Wonderful photos. Normal cat activities will bend or knock over just about anything!

Nick, the surround sound system will attest to that! I'm amazed that it still works, as many times as it's been on the floor...
